Rotary Lights in the Park opens Wednesday in Richland Center

Richland Center is getting set to flip the switch on its first annual Rotary Lights in the Park sponsored by the Rotary Club of Richland County.

The display will be in Krouskop Park behind the new Richland Center Community and Senior Center, just over the dike. The entrance to the display is on Jefferson Street one block east of the Richland Center Community and Senior Center.

The display will run Nov. 21 through Jan. 2 6–9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 6–10 p.m. Friday-Saturday.

The public is invited to Wednesday’s community kickoff beginning at 6 p.m. with singing by the Richland Center High School choir and Park Street Christian Church choir. Santa will also be making special appearances (dates and times to be determined) at the new Richland Center Community and Senior Center, 1050 N. Orange St. Refreshments will be available for purchase to assist in raising funds for the Senior Center during Santa’s hours.
