Mineral Point—Authors from Wisconsin and neighboring states have been selected to participate in the book signing event at the third annual Southwest Wisconsin Book Festival to be held Sept. 14 in Mineral Point. Participating authors this year include Jerry Apps, Jenny Fiore, Mary Potter Kenyon, Christine DeSmet, Laurie Scheer, Erin Hart and Scott Klug. Hosted by Little Creek Press, the 1-4 p.m. book signing event, part of a full day of activities, will be held at the historic Walker House in Mineral Point. The book signing will showcase a wide range of book genres including children’s books, fiction, non-fiction, poetry and short stories.
The Southwest Wisconsin Book Festival is a non-profit festival striving to educate, unite, and inspire those drawn to the written word and its imagery. This year’s event starts with 12 engaging morning workshops held in downtown Mineral Point that span a range of literary topics. The day continues with the book signing in the afternoon at the Walker House and will be capped off with a networking event.
