Folklore Village Barn Dances are fun-filled evenings of traditional American dances, including old-time squares, New England contras and Appalachian, Southern, and Midwestern big circles. No experience or special costume required. Families and beginners are always welcome! Featuring: Dot Kent & Lynn “Chirps” Smith & Friends Hard-driving old-time fiddling from the Midwest that evokes front porch music-making on the Illinois prairies and dances held in cabins in the hollers of Little Egypt.
