This is a historic year for the structure, now a cultural arts center, which will be marking the 60th anniversary of its construction in 1957 as well as the 150th anniversary of Wright’s birth in Richland Center on June 8, 1867. Docent Mary Pohlman will tell the story of the school, relating its architectural significance as well as the building’s 30-year history as an elementary school, during tours 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through November.
